SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Willow + Birch Co. This Shipping Policy explains how we process and ship orders placed on our website.

 

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 3-5 business days after payment is received.

  • Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or U.S. holidays.

  • During periods of high order volume, processing times may be extended by a few days. We will notify you if significant delays occur.

 

2. Shipping Method

USPS Only

All orders are shipped exclusively through United States Postal Service (USPS).

Available USPS services may include:

  • USPS First Class Package

  • USPS Priority Mail

  • USPS Priority Mail Express (if offered)

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on USPS pricing.

 

3. Delivery Estimates (U.S. Only)

Typical USPS delivery timeframes:

  • First Class Package: 3–7 business days

  • Priority Mail: 2–5 business days

  • Priority Mail Express: 1–2 business days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, as USPS may experience delays.

 

4. Shipping Locations

We currently ship within the United States only.

  • No international shipping is offered at this time.

  • We ship to the 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and U.S. P.O. Boxes.

 

5. Fragile Items

Many of our items are fragile. We take great care to package your order safely and securely, including:

  • Protective cushioning

  • Reinforced boxes when needed

  • “Fragile” labeling for postal handling

However, once the package has been handed over to USPS, Willow + Birch Co. is not responsible for damage caused in transit.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48–72 hours with photos so we can assist you in filing a USPS damage claim.

 

6. Tracking Information

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your USPS tracking number.
Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update.

 

7. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Willow + Birch Co. is not responsible for:

  • Packages lost or delayed by USPS

  • Stolen packages once marked “Delivered”

  • Incorrect addresses provided at checkout

For lost or delayed shipments, please contact USPS directly to open a case.

8. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address:

  • You will be contacted

  • You will be responsible for paying the cost of reshipment via USPS

 

9. Order Changes or Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered processing or has shipped.

Return & Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with Willow + Birch Co. We want you to love your purchase. This Return & Exchange Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for orders placed on our website.

 

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must contact us within 7–14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition, including packaging.

  • Items returned with damage, odors, or signs of use may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

 

2. Fragile Items

Many of our products are fragile.

If your item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48–72 hours with:

  • A description of the damage

  • Photos of the item and packaging

  • Your order number

Damaged-in-transit items may be eligible for a replacement or a USPS claim.
We may request that you return the damaged item or packaging for inspection.

 

3. Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, or custom-production reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-made or personalized items

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Digital products

  • Gift cards

 

4. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Defective items

  • Incorrect items received

  • Damaged-in-transit items (once verified)

If the item you want is out of stock, we may issue a refund or store credit instead.

 

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part.

  • We recommend using USPS and purchasing tracking for returns.

  • Willow + Birch Co. is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

 

6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original method of payment.

  • Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our mistake.

 

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before they have shipped.
Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

 

8. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive an incorrect or incomplete order:

  • Contact us within 48–72 hours

  • Include your order number and a photo of what you received

  • We will correct the issue at no additional cost to you
